    A story with distinguished feature, a conflict between not the traditional heroes and villains was there. There was a freedom from the boring action and romantic outlook of the movies of the old and new times. The hero-like style developed from the cheap technical basis of mere common love or romantic story lines with a mixture of common action sequences made up of punches, jokes and 'i-care-not' style has no emotional or greater artistic appeal to the highly webbed modern minds. We are on waiting for chhering-up, heart-feeling movements, which these sorts of films cannot supply to us. At this junction of change in demand, Film Director Mohit Suri has created something new! Just compare his recent strikes with the late action or romantic movies in the age of some 80'sort or 90's. What a vast change in creative outlook. Success is another thing, but the courageous attempt demands our appreciation.

          Ten year Anniversary of his great discovery in the form of 'Ek Villain' is unforgettable. While the film-interested ones are already bored with simple, cheerless common life-story depicting tales involving gross feelings, his deep explorations into the minds of the unknown characters with a thrilling and inspiring heart-touchy purport is stealing away the hearts of the advanced movie fans in the filmy world. And as a person of interest and zeal, I too am not untouched. I heartily welcome this, and pay my gratitude for our favourite Mohit Suri.

          I have not that deep cheerful and heart-touchy, thrilling or inspiring hugh-voltage atmosphere in his older films, which shone through his Villain. I must mention here that Mohit Suri has never merely showed the negativity that creeps into society to eat into its very conscience or goodness. The focus is always at a truth, that of the ultimate victory of taintless love or sympathy. The negativity is but a technical means for this conclusion. Yea, that is why I love 'Ek Villain' ideally, so deeply as a documentary humane appeal. What match there for it, which is appealing so much despite away from the well-known hero-goon struggling! The film is totally positive, even super-positive in its purpose which the adults can catch up with no hard thinking or analysing. A dispute was raised concerning its having been made out of the Korean violent movie 'I Saw The Devil', as a copy. But, how can one accord with that when we have seen that the Korean movie had not a drop of humane appeal, a heart-touchy vibration from the side of any character and was after all violent, cruelity-filled? On the contrary, in Ek Villain, firstly, the antagonist Rakesh Mahadkar has a partially positive and appealing aspect in his character which lessens his faults. And to speak of Guru! He is all blessed with a changed sensitive heart which carries its pain, but is yet resolved to give its hands-of-help to the needy ones, hungry of sympathy!

         After all, the recent glory of Mohit Suri is unfading, but this sequel movie of his, yea, I refer to the flop Ek Villain Returns indeed, is a sorrowful result of how good products have to suffer from bad managements. If Mohit Suri could have given more apt thinking to his planning, the result would be surely bombastic. But, our expectations died out when the sequel appeared with a bunch of faulty presentations along with a weak screenplay, in apt acting etc.
