Ek Villain Returns Review Alert!
Now it is very long for my friends that I again appeared on the blog discussion. Already a fair number of friends have been my visitor guests. Thanks to them, please write back to me sharing your feelings, for I believe that at least I can find out some hundred or more friends who are real advanced filmfans. Our similarllity is here that we all have been bored of the old traditional style. We need to have a revolutionary change, which can appeal to humanity very much. If that value fails, the meaningful role of movie industry will too cease to exist. From the standpoint of artistic excellence too, there is an utter demand of a new something which can break down this old tradition. That is why we have joined each other here....
Ek Villain was based on this main core theme: The Heart-change of a Villain Guru which turns him into a very sensitive icon of Sympathy ( Humdard). In the complete franchise of the Villain, the word 'Villain' stands for not a pure meaning. The pure meaning is what we know as Goonda,
Devil or just the badly sketched antagonist to the Good Hero. Here the story rating gets really less interesting because if this sort of comon tracable ordinary presentation of the Hero's glory. However, here in the Villain franchise, Villain is not a purely evil, his villainy nature or feature is confined to the limit of having reared a stoney hearted, passionless, heartless rigid mind at least. And hence he is a reckless driver in his life, he has a risky life which is at a sharp narrow edge. He is classic and is powerful, therefore unlike other low graded villains, The Villain or Ek Villain is powerful, almost untamable, indomitable and strengthened like thunderstorm. He has defeated his physical pains and has no worry about it. He has a high level endurance. That is how the line between the purely Villains and the classic Villains is drawn. The important thing here is that The Villain's heart has a sleeping or hidden imminent chance to be softened with Sympathy and Compassion. When a stormy event shakes his life and thoughts, his heart develops that sympathetic and compassionate feature. The tremendous power which once would lead him in ruthless acts ( here one must know that ruthless acts here do not denote any highly tenable committings), after this heart change stands unitedly with his sympathetic mind. The same tremendous and untamable energy when joins his new heart, The Villain does excellent things. His tremendous energy makes him the icon of Love and Sympathy and Compassion. He displays the greater role of inner energy compared to mere violent and hateful hostile muscular strentgh. His high level humane power with an attractive and inspiring enthusiasm or motion stirrs us. Eventually we found here something absolutely cheering! Here the story raises to such a level that we benefit both from a excellent story presentation and a heart-touchy humane standard to lead ourselves. Thus it also acts as an aid to social injuries caused of gross material aggression. The wonderful sympathy of Ek Villain is highly worthy to be appreciated.
The very important feature is here, that it has no purely negative antagonist. We can hold that the story runs without a totally evil antagonist, for here such story wants us to feel that the ordinary conflict of between the Hero protagonist and the Villain (purely indded) antagonist is common. The new thing is that not a mere conflict between a Good Hero and a Degraded Villain forms the theme. Rather the story becomes very sensitive when the story adopts both the protagonist and the antagonist as two attractive characters with a good aspect within themselves and the fault of the antagonist is too limited to a great extent which will make us feel he is not totally devil or degraded! But, quite naturally, the antagonist must have at least a single drop of evil aspect, morally not positive, which surely and inevitably puts the Protagonist before us as a greater and more inspiring, sympathy-arousing Character compared to the Antagonist, although the Antagonist never gets banished yet, for it is peculiarity of the syoryline to have no totally negative character or role. The role of an Antagonist is for showing his misled spoilt life! He would have appealed to our hearts the greater, but luckily we have the Protagonist who is now on the bright path, which inspires and thus fires our heart with real sympathy. Therefore the Protagonist wins really and indeed by inner power. Therefore he becomes the central Character of the story and the story gets titled after him. Therefore, he is the Ek Villain. The story adpots the style or role of the another villain who is Antagonist to run on the wonderful story.
In Ek Villain, we found Guru as Protagonist and Rakesh as the Antagonist. We sympathised with Guru to a greater extent becaise of his masdive heart change. The aptly presented events of Guru, depicting his softened heart with a deeply rooted pain stirrs our hearts greatly. With most amazement and respect-inspiring way, Guru displays a role of great sympathy, uncommon to us! He beats Rakesh out of intolerable pain, but he feels the pain of Rakesh's innocent family well. Rakesh's son therefore share a heart-touchy feelings with the former ruthless gangster. Guru walks with the kid as a friend to save him, which is well displayed in the very ending scenes. Guru pays for the treatment of Rakesh because he is aware of moral force. Therefore the tragic. story yet a positive and hopeful one makes us having a strong bond with Guru.
The other distinctive feature here is that, in no other film yet, the Antagonist is sketched so aptly that he can demand our sympathy, may be a little or more! But here we find Rakesh very much appealing to us compared to other examples of Antagonist characters that we have found till now. But indeed he does not surpass the Protagonist Villain here. But see Rakesh's character, a great success brought out. His helplesd, stressful yet his loving and enduring attitude towards his hen-pecking wife as well as hus strong affection and love for his son makes us feel that he is not a mere serial killer, he has his good aspect too. We foregive him in many ways to lessen his faults. He has a damaged life, very interesting. His most heart-touchy scene is placed at the very ending where he breaks down innerly and mourns for his wife and child. Therefore he has also his own importance. Apart from that, we get acquainted with the issue of middle-class problem. From that point, the story opens a social hole which must have been caused of socially powerful greedy ones!
The curse of poverty is sharply displayed here. An important and real life problem like that of Rakesh is significant. Both Guru's life and Rakesh's life puts before us morally and socially significant concepts. Some raise question on the film, saying that Ek Villain displays violent scenes of fights and killings. Yes that is true, there is such scenes. But to such a curious and thoughtful friend who has tried greatly to find out whether there is any jole in the film or not, that the average seroous films are for adults, not for children? The matter is different for just family entertainment and comedy genre, but here such films are meant for adults only because they are grown-up; they have their moral conscience well-awakened and indomitable; they are capable of understanding the purpose or leafing direction of the film's advancement properly as expected, but the children cannot. Rather they will understand wrongly and may receive encouragrment from evil motivations. The necessity of putting forth the final absolute purpose of establishing the motto of Love, Sympathy and Compassion, amd for properly and aptly, clearly and skillfully drawing on the story to its conclusion makes it compulsory to present such scenes. The morally strong and awakened adults can easily conceive this. They can, without any hard work, realise that the expected purpose of the movie is not bad or gross, but highly praiseworthy and totaly positive. Therefore Ek Villain is a remarkable Milestone for us. The Ek villain Returns Alert is not so far, I shall appear again for my friends.....
